The centre is open to visitors on Saturday afternoons between 2pm and 4pm and also by appointment.

IHWT has several regional welfare officers throughout Ireland that do home checks for IHWT horses and ponies.

Getting there :

Coming from Rathdrum/Avoca turn right at Woodenbridge Hotel. After 100 yards turn right again. Go 1.5 km up the road and the entrance lane to IHWT is between two cottages on the right hand side.
