Rescued 12th January 2011, aprox 2 years old. Alfie was found tied to a tree in the Wicklow Mountains, he is suffering from starvation, ringworm, worms and lice, he was on the brink of death and had given up on life. As a result of being exposed to such harsh elements with no protection he is suffering from severe rain scald.

Update:

Four weeks later and Alfie is out of quarantine and progressing better than expected, he is getting stronger each day and his wonderful little personality is winning the hearts of all, not to mention depleting our carrot supply at rapid speed!! Alfie still has a long road ahead to full recovery but the twinkle in his eye is back for good!
