HUGZ STORY : MAKE A DONATION TODAY TO IHWT TO SAVE A HORSES LIFE

Hugz is a wonderful old girl who was rescued on the 28th July 2011.

She was brought to our attention by a concerned member of the public. Not only are her hooves in a horrific condition she also has an old wound on her neck that had been left unattended and had become infected. She was also suffering from untreated sweet itch causing her much pain and discomfort.

Thankfully our vet and farrier have done a wonderful job on her hooves and she now has a tendency to fly around the yard at 100miles an hour and more if she gets the chance! Her sweet itch is currently being treated and her wound is healing up nicely.

Hugz still has a long way to go to full recovery but she is a magical girl with a big warm bubbly heart and she will never have the fear of neglect again. She has made great friends with her fellow pony Mia and both girls are enjoying the sunshine and their daily pampering but beware both will flatten you if there is a carrot in sight!
