SMURF

Make A Donation Today to IHWT to save horses

Rescued 27th January 2011. Smurf was found abandoned in a field in North County Dublin. He had been there, on his own, for approximately 3 years. From the outset Smurf looks to be in good health but on closer inspection our rescue worker noticed the appalling condition of his hooves. Smurf could barely walk, the neglect of his hooves has lead to severe damage to both his front and hind legs causing him a great deal of discomfort and pain.

Update:

Smurf has now being rehomed to a wonderful home where he is part of a great family and has a super life ahead of him.  If you wish to help a horse by rehoming and making a difference in a horses life, go to our rehoming page which will change weekly.
